DISC Kids Webinar

For parents and children – the perfect duo

Many misunderstandings in families arise because children and adults have different "ticks." DISC Kids makes children's personality styles tangible – with four lovingly designed animal figures: an eagle, a parrot, a dove, and an owl. This way, your child playfully learns how they "work" – and with DISC Birds, you as a parent get an age-appropriate version that demonstrates how you communicate and lead.

The result: more mutual understanding, less friction in everyday life and a common language – based on the same principles, but presented in a child-friendly way.

✔ Same system and symbolism for children and adults

✔ Explained in a child-friendly way for children between 6–12 years

✔ More connection in everyday family life through mutual understanding

  • Eagle

Eagle children love to be brave. They want to make decisions, enjoy leading, and clearly express their thoughts. If something is going too slowly, they simply do it themselves.

  • Parrot

Parrot children are cheerful, talkative, and have many ideas. They love to play with others, discover new things, and want everyone to have fun.

  • Dove

Dove children prefer a calm and friendly environment. They are sensitive to others' feelings, willing to help, and want everyone to get along well.

  • Owl

Owl children prefer to observe before speaking. They think a lot, want to do everything right, and like clear rules and order.

FAQ

Why should I create my DISC profile?

Many parents know the feeling: You want to do everything right, but misunderstandings still arise in everyday life. Children suddenly react negatively, withdraw, or seek conflict – and it often remains unclear why.

This is exactly where the DISC Kids profile comes in.

It helps you better understand your child—not just superficially, but also in their personality. You gain insight into how your child thinks, communicates, motivates themselves, and deals with challenges.

This knowledge isn't a theoretical model, but is immediately applicable in practice. You'll learn how to reach your child in everyday life, how to respond sensitively to their needs, and how to proactively avoid conflicts.

The DISC profile creates mutual understanding. Parents experience greater clarity and confidence in their interactions with their child—children feel seen and accepted as they are.

A common foundation is created on which education, relationships and development succeed in a more relaxed and trusting manner.

How long does it take to create my DISC profile?

The DISC profile itself includes approximately 24 statements for the child to rate. Most children need 15 to 20 minutes to complete.

For very young children or children who are easily distracted, we recommend taking the test in a quiet environment and ideally with a parent.

From what age is the profile suitable?

Our DISC Kids profile was developed specifically for children ages 6 to 12. It's not the exact age that's important, but rather the ability to read and understand simple statements.

Younger children (6-8 years) may need adult assistance, while older children can usually complete the assessment on their own without any problems.

How do I get the evaluation?

Once the profile is completed, the evaluation will be sent to your email.

You will receive:

- a child-friendly PDF evaluation via email (including bird type, description & behavioral tips)

- concrete tips on how to communicate better with your child in everyday life

- for bundles: also an adult evaluation for parents

The evaluation can be used immediately – no waiting or shipping necessary.

Is DISC Kids scientifically valid?

Yes. DISC is based on a proven personality model that has been used worldwide for decades – in companies, schools, coaching, and psychological counseling.

Our version has been prepared by experts so that even children can use it in a playful and easy-to-understand way. The four bird types (eagle, parrot, dove, owl) provide emotional access to one's own personality – and help parents better understand behavior.

How much does the DISC profile cost?

A single profile costs $49 for a child or adult.

There are attractive family packages starting at $89 that combine the test for 1 child + 1 parent or several family members.

In addition to our packages, we also offer individual solutions for coaches and educators.

Can I create profiles for multiple children?

Yes, of course. You can create as many profiles as you like – either through a combination package or by purchasing multiple individual tests. Each profile is unique, and you'll receive a separate report for each child.
